One of my biggest fears about the divorce was the impact it could have on my children. Armata & Davis helped minimize conflict and helped my spouse and me focus on what was important for our children.

Jennifer Davis

At first blush you wonder how somebody that's so well respected in the courts as a child advocate, Guardian ad litem and sought after speaker on the issues of family law, could have possibly started her career elsewhere, interpreting the Constitution. But, perhaps it's not all that strange because the Constitution is really just a hop, skip and a jump away from the Bill of Rights, which gives us "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Giving her clients the ability to move on with their lives and pursue happiness post-divorce - that makes sense. Whether practicing as a private attorney or acting as a court appointed child advocate or Guardian ad litem Jennifer is always putting the needs of children at the forefront. She is recognized in the legal community as a knowledgeable and effective attorney, skilled in resolving contentious family issues.

Maybe it's her deep appreciation of things are 200+ years old that can explain it. Like the Constitution, her house was constructed more than two centuries ago - it's a work in progress. She spends hours on end repairing and restoring it. Methodical. Thorough. Fastidious. Meticulous. Hyper-vigilant. Her house - it has seen better days and so have many of her clients, but in both efforts, Jennifer's passion, care, patience and attention to detail assures their futures are in good hands.

Jennifer's clients benefit from her boundless energy and involvement. She works closely with them to identify what's important and they are always aware of their progress. Well-informed decision making is Jennifer's top priority for her clients.

Jennifer is sought after as a skilled lecturer. In the past, she has instructed members of the mental health field in Connecticut divorce law, she has lectured on the development of parenting access plans for peer groups and she has been a member of a symposium on the role of the Guardian ad litem in the Juvenile court system.

Like most people, Jennifer fills her free time with the activities she loves such as donning a T-shirt and jeans and riding about the woods on one of her horses. She reads and writes creatively, gardens extensively and restoring her 200+ year old house. Jennifer is blessed with three teen-agers, who fill her time with activity, love, laughter and laundry.
